Playing with the alligators

We had a wonderful time in Florida despite everyone being sick at some point. Our first stop was to Ft. Lauderdale where we were able to see and touch the american alligator.

Dad's kiss must have proved to the girls that the alligator wasn't going to bite (that and the tape). So they weren't too shy about giving his hand a little shake. Besides seeing these alligators, we also counted six others in waterways along the road where some people were comfortably fishing -with their babies.

We also all had the opportunity to play in the Atlantic Ocean. Sydney enjoyed romping in and out of the waves with Zach while Eleanor and I were pretty content to play in the sand.

Love the pic of Zach and the alligator! And I can't believe Eleanor touching it, especially seeing her mad at that puppy yesterday.

I'm so glad you're blogging.
